Terms of Service

These terms cover Raindance AI, its video tools and payment sandbox. Use the service only if you are at least 18, can lawfully agree to these terms and accept our Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Service & availability

The service creates a new fictional sunset-pier scene from two authorized adult portraits and a written prompt. It does not accept an existing performance video or replace faces or people in existing footage. The standard configuration is a 15-second, 720p, 9:16 MP4. The model generates the scene without an audio reference; the original Raindance song excerpt is added afterwards to preview and download files. This does not grant music ownership, publication or commercial-use rights. The accepted sample is 14 seconds at 480p. Free generation depends on provider balance and daily capacity; exact shot timing and lyric lip-sync are not guaranteed.

The configured video model is Seedance 2.0 Mini by ByteDance. KIE provides API access and temporary uploads; the two photos and a written prompt are passed directly to the video model. No video or audio reference is used in the current workflow. Raindance AI is independently operated, not an official product of ByteDance, KIE, the artists or the Raindance Film Festival. Output and availability depend on external providers.

2. Eligibility & browser access

Use only consenting adults or characters and materials you are authorized to use. Free previews use an anonymous browser session. Purchases use a recovery code that you must save privately before checkout. The code restores purchases and related videos after changing browsers or clearing cookies. Anyone holding it can access those records. We store its hash and cannot display the original code again. If it is lost, contact support; restoration requires ownership verification and is not guaranteed.

3. Payment & video credits

One-time packs are USD 6.99 for one credit, USD 17.99 for three and USD 49.99 for ten before applicable tax. Production checkout is available while generation capacity permits. Waffo Pancake processes payment on its hosted checkout; the final tax, total and available payment methods appear there. Only a verified successful payment notification adds credits. A return-page visit alone does not confirm payment.

One credit starts one standard video task. It is reserved before generation, retained on successful delivery and returned on a definite failed task. An uncertain provider submission stays reserved while that same task is checked, to prevent duplicate charges. Credits have no fixed expiry while the service operates and are not transferable or redeemable for cash except an applicable refund. There are no subscriptions, automatic renewals or automatic top-ups.

The separate /payments/test sandbox charges no real money and never unlocks paid generation. Use official test cards only there. Production checkout uses real payment details and real money; do not use test cards.

4. Cancellation, refunds & billing inquiries

You can leave checkout before paying. Failed, abandoned or expired payments add no credits. A failed generation returns its reserved credit; it does not automatically refund a pack payment. Request a refund for unused credits or a delivery/billing problem using the support contact below and include your order ID. We normally review requests within seven business days. Any approved cash refund is processed through Waffo to the original payment method, subject to its processing time.

If you believe a real or duplicate charge occurred unexpectedly, contact the operator below and Waffo using the details on your receipt. Include the order ID and explanation, not card details. Your refund, withdrawal and other mandatory consumer rights are preserved.

5. Inputs, outputs & intellectual property

You retain rights you hold in your inputs and permit us to process them to provide and secure the service. We do not train our own models using uploads. Providers have their own data policies.

AI may change likeness, proportions, clothing and timing. Review outputs and disclose that they are AI-generated. We cannot guarantee copyright protection, exclusivity, accuracy or freedom from third-party rights. An output grants no rights to another person’s likeness, a trademark, footage or a song. Attribution alone is not a license.

6. Acceptable use & enforcement

Our Acceptable Use Policy lists prohibited content, reporting and enforcement. Do not bypass moderation, abuse preview limits, interfere with the site or deceptively impersonate people. We may reject requests, restrict access or remove hosted material for misuse or legal obligations.

You are responsible for your submissions and use of outputs. To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for reasonable, proven direct losses caused by your unlawful use, infringement of others’ rights or material breach of these terms. There is no automatic penalty or waiver of your right to challenge a claim.

Serious or repeated violations, fraud or a legal requirement can lead to suspension or termination of access. We will explain the action where lawful and safe, and you can appeal through the contact below. You may stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your session-linked data under our Privacy Policy. Refund notifications revoke the corresponding credits: partial refunds remove a proportional number rounded up; multiple partial refunds are accumulated without double-counting. Refunding credits already spent can leave an adjustment that must be covered before another generation. This never triggers an automatic payment.

7. Privacy & downloads

Our Privacy Policy describes photos, cookies, records and vendors. Downloads are accessible for seven days after task creation; this does not guarantee automatic deletion of every provider file or database record. Download files you wish to retain.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

This experimental service is provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted access, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or a particular creative result. AI outputs can be inaccurate, inappropriate or infringe third-party rights; review them before use and do not rely on them as professional advice.

Where applicable law allows, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, arising from use of the service. Our aggregate liability for a claim is limited to the greater of USD 100 or the amount you paid us for this service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply to fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury for which we are legally responsible, or any liability that law prohibits limiting. Mandatory consumer, privacy and refund rights take priority.

9. Changes & disputes

Material changes appear here with an updated date and, unless an urgent legal or security change is needed, at least 15 days before taking effect. Contact the operator for concerns or disputes. Mandatory consumer protections applicable to you remain in effect.
